Arriving In Paradise At Sunseeker Resort
A Visit To SW Florida’s Newest Destination Resort
Allegiant Opens Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor in Port Charlotte, FL
The Florida sun enveloped us in a warm embrace as we emerged from the car, setting foot onto the impeccably manicured grounds of Sunseeker Resort in Charlotte Harbor. Excitement coursed through us, mingling with the anticipation of the adventures awaiting in this oasis of luxury and tranquility on Florida’s Paradise Coast.
ARRIVING IN PARADISE AT SUNSEEKER RESORT
At check-in, we were greeted with genuine warmth by the professional staff, whose smiles and eager assistance immediately set a welcoming tone. Each step towards our room revealed the meticulous design of the resort, the first of its kind from Allegiant. The entire resort seamlessly blends modern elegance with the natural splendor of its Southwest Florida surroundings.
Walking the resort is fascinating. The scenery is truly stunning and at the attention to detail is apparent.
STUNNING FLOOR-TO-CEILING WINDOWS
Our accommodation at Sunseeker surpassed expectations. From our room’s expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, we gazed upon the tranquil waters of Charlotte Harbor, where Sting Rays and other fish glided gracefully below, a mesmerizing sight that seemed nearly surreal. The sunrise from our room was equally stunning as the sun rose over the ocean.
Eager to explore, we ventured forth into the Sunseeker Resort’s sprawling grounds, a veritable paradise offering endless delights, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, and gorgeous views. Whether lounging beside the glistening pool, indulging in a pampering spa treatment, or embarking on one of the many recreational activities available, every moment was infused with excitement and possibility.
LEVEL BLUE – OCEANVIEW POOLSIDE DRINKS & BITES
A culinary highlight awaited us at Level Blue, the resort’s exclusive eighth-floor restaurant overlooking the harbor. Amidst breathtaking views, we savored each delectable dish, crafted with the freshest ingredients.
Our Margarita Pizza was the perfect “light-bite”. The flavorful, thin-crust pizza disappeared quickly. The Lobster Roll was fresh, sweet, and an ideal complement to the poolside lunch.
Yet, it was the impeccable service and attention to detail that truly elevated the experience.
Overall we found the entire staff at this resort to be truly delightful and professional – a tribute to the Sunseeker’s exceptional management team. The top floor of Sunseeker is called “Level Blue”. This floor offers an escape from the world below with sensational views of the Gulf of Mexico, Charlotte Harbor, and the shores of Southwest Florida. Hotel rules limit admittance to Adults 18 and older, and pets are not allowed on Level Blue. There is also a nominal, additional fee even for hotel guests.
Even if you do not plan to use the pool, do plan a visit to Level Blue when vacationing at Sunseeker Resort. The experience will be forever remembered.
The huge infinity pool, sensational food, creative bartenders, and views will never be duplicated anywhere.
On the ground level, the sprawling Reflections Pool and Spa is adjacent to the hotel with views of Charlotte Harbor. This is the primary hotel pool and is a year-round relaxing tropical oasis that offers an array of comfortable lounge chairs as well as private cabanas.
You may order a frozen cocktail or a small bite from the creative menu. If you’d like a full meal walk over to the neighboring Waterside Table – a popular Sunseeker Resort restaurant.
Pool Hours vary seasonally but the Reflection pool use is available to all registered hotel guests and resort members, opens at 8:00 AM and usually closes one hour after sunset.
DINING AT SUNSEEKER RESORT
So, how many restaurants are there at Sunseeker Resort? In addition to Level Blue, Sunseeker boasts a diverse array of dining options, each offering its own unique ambiance and culinary delights. Sunseeker Resort offers 20 original food & beverage options on-premises, including seven stand-alone restaurants, 11 bars & lounges, and event poolside service.
We enjoyed browsing the 25,000 sq ft food court. Half Cracked (pictured above) is one of several on-premises restaurant choices. From casual cafes to elegant fine dining, there is a multitude of flavors to fit everyone’s taste and budget. Dining at Sunseeker is an adventure in itself, tantalizing the senses and satisfying the palate.
SUNSEEKER ADVENTURES
Sunseeker offers travelers an opportunity to enjoy the Paradise Coast as no other lodging property can. Amidst the opulence and indulgence, it was the profound sense of escape and rejuvenation that resonated most deeply for us.
We concluded our visit by discussing plans to return and visit more of the Sunseeker resort’s restaurants including Maury’s (Steak House), Stretto (Italian), Blue Lime (Mexican), Allegiant Stadium (Sports Bar), Half-Cracked Tiki Shack (Caribbean), Waterside Table (Poolside Restaurant & Bar), and of course the amazing Level Blue Rooftop experience.

This one-of-a-kind Florida vacation destination is highly suggested and will reward you with a lifetime of memories. This remarkable oceanside property, stunning architecture, and world-class hospitality will impress the most demanding of travelers.
