A January 17, 2024 press event revealed the much-anticipated news that Naples, Florida, had been awarded a USL (United States Soccer League) franchise. The USL Naples team will commence play in 2025, led by a world-class ownership group with extensive experience in both North American and European sports leagues. The Paradise Coast Sports Complex, opened in 2019, spans over 160 acres and is a premier sports venue in Florida.
