In 2014, Roberta, her husband Dave, and their two sons, Ryan and William, made the life-changing decision to move from Massachusetts to Marco Island, Florida, filled with dreams and excitement. Little did they know that this journey would lead to the creation of RISE Pediatric Therapy.
The family’s experiences, especially their support for their autistic son William, shaped Roberta’s mission. The invaluable guidance from professionals in both Massachusetts and Florida helped them navigate the complexities of autism. Roberta fondly recalls the pivotal roles occupational therapists, speech therapists, and educators played in William’s development. These experiences laid the foundation for her desire to offer the same support and hope to other families.
